Quinoa is a good source of complete protein with all 9 essential amino acids and contains vitamin B1, B2 (riboflavin), B6 and folic acid. It is high in dietary fiber, iron, phosphorus and many other phytonutrients.

Quinoa is low in sugar and starch and high in fibre and unsaturated fats esp. heart-healthy mono-unsaturated fats. It contains many essential vitamins and minerals.
