Quinoa, one of the most complete natural foods, high in fibre and with complete essential proteins is a great source of rice replacement that can help lower blood pressure and cholesterol. Along with great health benefits, this colorful dish will make your taste buds happy!
This recipe is so simple and yet so flavorful, there's no need for any seasoning!

Ingredients: (Serves 2 - 3)


  • - 2 tablespoons of dried ikan bilis


  • - 5 dried oysters


  • - 2 cups water



1. Wash ikan bilis and dried oysters. ( Do note to wash ikan bilis at least twice to remove  excessive salt. )

2. Place both ikan bilis and dried oysters in a saucepan. Fill the saucepan with water.

3. Bring it to a boil; Maintain at boiling point for about 10 mins.

4. Add in uncooked quinoa into saucepan.

5. Continue boiling for another 10-15 minutes till there is little water left.

6. Let dish sit for approx. 3 mins; Scoop out and serve!
